August 29, 2008Project 1 is in the major limelight, thanks to their very crispy and melodic song “Ang Sarap Dito”. It’s a major, major success with the song being played for Coca-Cola TV advertisement. Now, that’s a lot of money for Projet 1 people.
See the neat video here:
ANG SARAP DITO
Lyrics
[Chorus:]
Lilipad na ako
Sabayan niyo ako
Ang sarap dito
Sa pupuntahan ko
Bubuhos na ang saya
Tayo na, sumama ka
Ang sarap dito
Sa pupuntahan ko
Sawa na ‘ko sa dati
Naiinip parati
Wala na ‘kong magawa
Dito’y sawang-sawa
Ayoko na sa gan’on
Lahat sobrang tahimik
Gusto ko ng mas maingay
Tumikim na nang tunay
[Repeat Chorus]
Ang uhaw ko sa laro
Parang biglang napawi
Wala na ring hapdi
Nakangiti na lagi
Pananabik sa bagong buhay
Bigla na lang naabot
Nang tumikim ako nang tunay
Nawala na ang bugnot
[Repeat Chorus]
Tikman mo
Ang sarap dito
Tikman mo
Ang sarap dito
[Repeat Chorus 2x]
Tikman mo
Ang sarap dito
Tikman mo
Ang sarap dito
Tikman mo
Ang sarap dito
Tikman mo

Disturbia by Rihanna is tops at the Yahoo! Music. It’s definitely sassy and sexy, polished and of course the music is so danceable that it’s just perfect for midnight peaks in bars and discos. Rihanna shows more of her character here, and she’s getting better all the time.

David Letterman says in his show that it was controversial. With this kind of album title, nobody’s surprise.
Controversy gets attention and so I sampled the music. Well, it is. “Rock and Roll Jesus” contains lyrics that is likely to ignite religious sentiments.
But hey, upon second look and on listening on the songs, I could say that Kid Rock may be preaching the right things rather than the malicious implications. Look deeper and hear more closely. Kid Rock is not blaspheming sacred faith. If he did, I wouldn’t listen at all.
“Amen” is definitely clean and believes in someone “Above”. “All Summer Long” has some good straight-forward message.
And the music, the music is just awesome. American rock is revived, finally. Kid Rock is preaching that.
In “Rock and Roll Jesus”, there’s one dangerous line there, like “sex, drugs and alcohol”, but that’s only one line. The rest could be saying the right things.
Kid Rock is transforming himself. He needs time. With patience, he might just do the right things and sing about it.
And again, the music is just awesome. No wonder it stays on the top of the Billboard Album Charts for several weeks now.
Rating: 8 out of 10.
