September 3, 2008 Apple is coming up with some good news about iPod in the coming days. To be watched out for are new models for its iPod music players as well as sizeable price cuts that’ll make the sassy gadgets ever more enjoyable.
An analyst at American Technology Research, Shaw Wu, said the iPod line needed to be refreshed and the price of its iPod Touch models needed to be cut because they have a higher starting price than the iPhone, which includes a cellphone and other features not included in the Touch.
The Internet-ready iPod Touch starts at $299 in the United States, compared with $199 for the iPhone.
Update: In fact, the launching is now slated on September 9, dubbed as “Let’s Rock”.
